Oppo might be preparing a significant upgrade for its Reno lineup if recent leaks are any indication. According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are currently being tested with a massive 200MP main camera—a notable jump from the 50MP sensor used in the Reno 14 series.

Although the camera specs sound promising, it’s still early days. The exact sensor details haven’t been confirmed yet, and with Oppo still in the testing phase, there’s always a chance things could change. What does seem likely, though, is that both models will include a periscope telephoto lens, continuing from the Reno 14 series which also featured a telephoto setup.

One of the most noticeable changes will be the display size. The standard Reno 15 is expected to feature a smaller 6.3-inch flat display, making it more compact than the Reno 14, which has a 6.59-inch screen. This could appeal to users who prefer phones that are easier to handle with one hand.

The Reno 15 Pro is also rumored to shrink slightly, with a 6.78-inch screen compared to the 6.83-inch panel on its predecessor. Both phones are expected to feature metal frames and support for wireless charging—two features that add a premium touch to the hardware.

Interestingly, Oppo might also be planning to introduce a flagship-level hardware platform to the Reno 15 series. While there’s no clear information yet on whether this refers to a high-end chipset or a new generation imaging processor, it’s a signal that Oppo could be aiming to push the Reno series into more premium territory.

OPPO has not yet confirmed a launch timeline for the Reno 15 series. Since the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro were only recently introduced globally, their successors are not expected to launch anytime soon. In fact, OPPO is gearing up to launch the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro in India on July 3. With internal testing for the Reno 15 series reportedly already underway, we can expect more leaks and information to emerge in the coming weeks.
