Poco F7 is expected to launch in India soon, featuring a record-breaking 7,550mAh battery, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, 90W fast charging, and up to 16GB RAM. Here’s everything we know so far.

Poco is preparing to launch its highly anticipated flagship, the Poco F7, in India, and early details suggest it will be one of the most feature-packed smartphones of 2025. While the brand has yet to confirm the official launch date, a promotional listing on Flipkart has already revealed significant information—most notably about the phone’s massive battery.
The Poco F7 will come equipped with a 7,550mAh battery, setting a new benchmark for battery capacity in smartphones launched in India. This surpasses the current leaders, the iQOO Z10 and Vivo T4, both of which house 7,300mAh batteries. Flipkart also mentions that the F7 uses advanced Si/C battery technology, capable of delivering up to 2.18 days of battery life on a single charge under moderate usage.

Charging speeds are equally impressive. The Poco F7 will support 90W fast wired charging, ensuring that the large battery can be topped up efficiently. In addition, the phone will offer 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing it to function as a power bank to charge other devices—a useful feature for users on the go.

Poco is taking a bold leap in design with the F7 by offering not just standard variants, but also a distinctive special edition aimed at users who prefer a more expressive look. Recently revealed by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore on X (formerly Twitter), this special edition features a diagonally split rear panel with a striking two-tone finish. The top portion includes mock vents and circuit-like graphics with prominent Snapdragon branding, while the bottom half sports a brushed silver texture along with an offset Poco logo. This design approach suggests Poco is catering to both minimalists and those who enjoy a more aggressive, standout aesthetic.

Under the hood, the Poco F7 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. One variant was spotted on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM, though more configurations—possibly up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage—are likely to be announced.

Industry rumours suggest that the Poco F7 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. If accurate, this means the F7 would also feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1280p resolution, offering vibrant visuals and smooth performance. The phone is also expected to carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
In the camera department, the Poco F7 may sport a triple-lens system with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 20MP front camera. While further camera details are awaited, this setup appears to offer a solid combination for both photography enthusiasts and casual users.
While Poco has yet to announce the official launch date, the details emerging from Flipkart and other reliable sources suggest that the device is nearly ready for its debut. Stay tuned for more updates as the official launch approaches.
