After days of teasing, Poco has officially confirmed the launch date for its next big release — the Poco F7. Set to debut in India on June 24 at 5:30 PM IST, the smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart. The upcoming device is drawing attention for its powerhouse battery, fast charging, and a set of flagship-grade features that could shake up the mid-premium segment.
At the centre of the Poco F7’s appeal is its 7,550mAh battery, which sets a new benchmark for smartphones sold in India. This capacity outpaces existing leaders like the iQOO Z10 and Vivo T4, both equipped with 7,300mAh batteries. Poco claims that the F7’s battery, built using advanced Silicon-Carbon (Si/C) battery tech, can deliver up to 2.18 days of battery life under moderate usage — a significant edge for users who prioritize endurance.
To complement the large battery, the F7 will support 90W fast wired charging, ensuring rapid top-ups. Notably, the phone will also feature 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing it to charge other devices — effectively turning the phone into a portable power bank, which could be a big plus for users on the go.
While Poco hasn’t revealed the full specifications, it is confirmed that the Poco F7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. Industry rumours suggest the F7 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. If that holds true, the device is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1280p resolution, delivering smooth visuals and vibrant colours. It is also likely to come with an IP68 rating, offering strong protection against dust and water— a rare offering in this price segment.

In terms of cameras, the Poco F7 is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup. This could include a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 20MP front-facing lens — catering to both mobile photography enthusiasts and casual users alike.
