realme has launched its latest true wireless earbuds, the Buds Air 7 Pro, in India and select global markets. These earbuds deliver up to 48 hours of playback time including the charging case. They come equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) that can reduce noise by up to 53dB and offer a low latency mode of 45ms for lag-free audio, making them ideal for gaming and video streaming. The Buds Air 7 Pro also support AI-powered features such as AI Live Translator, Face to Face Translator, and AI Inquiry. The earbuds were initially introduced in China back in April.
Key Specifications and Features
The Buds Air 7 Pro sports an in-ear design and features dual DAC drivers—a powerful 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. They use a six-microphone AI-based noise cancellation system capable of up to 53dB noise reduction.
These earbuds hold Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and support the LHDC 5.0 codec for high-quality sound. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4, Swift Pair, and dual device support. The 45ms ultra-low latency mode ensures minimal audio delay for gaming or video.
With an IP55 rating, the earbuds resist dust and water. The charging case, made of aluminium for durability, weighs about 43.4 grams, while each earbud weighs 4.89 grams. The Fiery Red and Glory Beige versions come with a leather-textured charging case.
AI Features
The Buds Air 7 Pro supports AI-powered real-time translation features. The AI Live Translator enables live translation through the Gemini AI Voice Assistant. The Face to Face Translator offers real-time conversation translation and voice broadcasting, supporting 34 foreign languages. The AI Inquiry feature provides easy access to Google Gemini.
Battery Life and Charging
The earbuds pack a 62mAh battery each, while the charging case holds 530mAh. Together, they offer up to 48 hours of playback with ANC off. With ANC and LHDC enabled, battery life reduces to around 28 hours. A quick 10-minute charge delivers 11 hours of playback. Full charging of both earbuds and case takes around 120 minutes.
