realme has launched the Buds Wireless 5 Lite neckband in India featuring a 12.4mm bass driver, 35-hour battery life, fast charging, ENC, and Bluetooth 5.4. Available from June 27 starting at ₹1,199
realme has officially launched the Buds Wireless 5 Lite in India, expanding its audio lineup with a new neckband-style offering aimed at budget-conscious users.
The Buds Wireless 5 Lite features a sleek Peak Pocket Design, offering flexible bending and high durability. It’s built to withstand 5,000 bends and 25,000 folds, and comes with an IP55 rating for water and sweat resistance — making it a solid option for everyday use, including workouts or commuting.
On the audio front, the neckband is powered by a large 12.4mm dynamic bass driver with a PU/PEEK diaphragm, PET titanium coating, and N38 magnets. This setup is designed to deliver deep bass and crisp audio quality, especially suited for users who prioritize immersive sound. The earbuds also have magnetic tips for convenience and a secure fit.
Battery life is another highlight, with up to 35 hours of playback on a full charge. It also supports fast charging, making it easy to top up when on the go. realme says the battery can handle up to 600 complete charge cycles without significant degradation, ensuring long-term performance.
Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.4, offering faster and more stable connections. The Buds Wireless 5 Lite supports dual-device pairing, so users can switch between devices seamlessly. It also includes Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) via a smart DNN algorithm, along with a dedicated microphone for clearer voice calls. A 45ms low-latency Game Mode is also included for gamers looking for audio responsiveness.
One thing to note is that, unlike some of realme’s higher-end audio products, the Buds Wireless 5 Lite does not support the realme Link app for advanced controls or firmware updates.

Pricing and Availability
The realme Buds Wireless 5 Lite is priced at an MRP of ₹1,999, but will be available at a special launch price of ₹1,049 after a ₹150 discount on the official price of ₹1,199. It comes in three colour options — Cyber Orange, Haze Blue, and Void Black. The neckband will go on sale starting June 27 at 12 PM and will be available through Amazon.in, Flipkart, and realme.com.
