realme has officially unveiled the Neo7 Turbo in China, expanding its premium smartphone lineup. The device stands out with its high-end specifications, including a large 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display, MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400e chipset, and an IP69-rated durable body.

Display and Design

The Neo7 Turbo features a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution (2800×1280 pixels), a 144Hz refresh rate, and BOE’s Q10 luminous material. It offers up to 6500 nits local peak brightness and 2000 nits of global brightness, backed by 4608Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort. The display also supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and full-brightness DC dimming.

Design-wise, the phone adopts a transparent back panel that reveals internal components with a 1:1 structural representation. It includes a crystal-engraved finish, an NFC coil, and a Flash DART logo, giving the phone a distinctive look.

Performance and Storage

Under the hood, the realme Neo7 Turbo is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e 4nm processor, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device scores around 2.45 million on AnTuTu, according to realme. It also includes the GT performance engine 2.0 for enhanced gaming and multitasking.

Cooling and Battery

To handle heat, the phone is equipped with a dual-layer graphene cooling system with a 7700mm² vapor chamber. Powering the device is a massive 7200mAh battery, supported by 100W fast charging. realme claims it can reach 50% charge in just 19 minutes.

Camera Setup

The Neo7 Turbo sports a dual rear camera system, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera. The device supports up to 4K 60fps video recording.
