RedMagic has officially launched its latest flagship gaming smartphones — the RedMagic 10S Pro and 10S Pro+ — in China. These models succeed the RedMagic 10 Pro series and bring significant upgrades in performance, cooling, and gaming features.
Both phones are powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition chipset, clocked up to 4.47GHz. They come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage, offering top-end specs for mobile gamers.
The devices continue with a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED BOE Q9+ display featuring up to 144Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, and 2592Hz PWM dimming. A screen-to-body ratio of 95.3% and support for DC dimming enhance the viewing experience further. The phones also feature a self-developed Red Core R3 Pro gaming chip, delivering 2K+120FPS gameplay with enhanced frame rate processing.
To keep temperatures under control during extended gaming sessions, the RedMagic 10S Pro series uses composite liquid metal cooling 2.0 and a high-speed centrifugal fan spinning up to 23,000 rpm. The cooling system includes a 12,000mm² VC chamber and 5,200mm² superconducting copper foil. Notably, this is the first RedMagic series to include a built-in PC emulator, which supports a range of PC games from the Steam platform.
Gamers also benefit from 520Hz shoulder triggers, an 0815 X-axis linear motor, and 1115 stereo speakers. The phones include multi-function NFC and a 16MP under-display front camera powered by new AI tech for improved imaging.
The rear camera setup features a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. It supports low-light photography, fast focusing, HDR, AI tools, and album search features.
Battery capacity differs between models: the RedMagic 10S Pro+ packs a 7500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 120W fast charging, capable of full charge in just 35 minutes. The standard RedMagic 10S Pro includes a 7050mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
