Redmi K Pad launched with a sharp 8.8-inch 3K 165Hz display, Dimensity 9400+ chip, up to 16GB RAM, and 67W fast charging. Now available in China.

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi K Pad, its latest flagship compact tablet, at an event in China. Positioned as a high-performance tablet under the Redmi brand, the K Pad focuses on powerful hardware, an immersive display, and a slim, lightweight design.
The tablet features an 8.8-inch 3K LCD display (3008 × 1880) with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 165Hz variable refresh rate. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR Vivid, and reaches up to 700 nits peak brightness (HBM). The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, enhancing durability.

Under the hood, the Redmi K Pad is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, built on a 3nm process and paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. A chip-centered architecture and a large 12050mm² aluminum alloy VC liquid cooling system help manage thermals efficiently. Xiaomi claims the tablet delivers Android’s first 3K full-frame super-resolution gaming experience.
The audio experience is equally premium, with a custom four-voice coil symmetrical dual-speaker system enhanced by Dolby Atmos. Dual X-axis linear motors provide haptic feedback, and Xiaomi’s new three-antenna concurrent architecture reduces latency during gaming sessions.

On the imaging front, the K Pad includes a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front camera for video calls and selfies. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
Despite its powerful internals, the tablet retains a sleek profile at just 6.46mm thickness and 326g weight. It is backed by a 7500mAh battery (7350mAh minimum) and supports 67W fast charging. It’s also the first Redmi tablet to feature a dual USB-C interface and Xiaomi’s new “bypass charging Plus” system for better power efficiency during intensive use.
