Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K Pad Design Revealed Ahead of Launch

Redmi is preparing to expand its product lineup with the upcoming launch of the Redmi K80 Ultra and the Redmi K Pad. Ahead of the official unveiling, the design of both devices has surfaced online, offering a clear look at what to expect from the brand’s next premium smartphone and flagship tablet.

The newly leaked image shows both the K80 Ultra and the K Pad in a green finish with a matte texture. The K80 Ultra sports a round camera module on the back, maintaining a design language similar to the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, which debuted in China back in November 2024. A closer look confirms the presence of a dual-camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).

The Redmi K80 Ultra is said to come with a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display offering 1.5K resolution. It will likely feature a 7,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, a sturdy metal middle frame, and an IP68-rated body for dust and water resistance.

Both the Redmi K80 Ultra and K Pad were recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing the presence of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. The listings also indicate 16GB of RAM and Android 15 as the operating system.

As for the Redmi K Pad, Xiaomi has already confirmed that it will be the brand’s first flagship tablet under the Redmi name. The device will feature an 8.8-inch 3K LCD screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. Internally, it will house the same Dimensity 9400+ chip found in the K80 Ultra and will support 67W fast charging. The tablet’s design emphasizes portability, with Xiaomi opting for lighter and slimmer components to maintain a sleek form factor.

The Redmi K Pad follows a clean and minimalist design. It features a single rear camera paired with an LED flash and a microphone positioned just below the camera module. A text branding on the back reads “Gamma Antenna.” The volume buttons are placed on the right edge, while the power button sits at the top.
