Samsung appears to be preparing to launch a new pair of budget-friendly wireless earbuds in India, likely called the Galaxy Buds Core. While the company hasn’t officially confirmed the name, a recent teaser posted on Samsung India’s X (formerly Twitter) account hints at it with the tagline: “Let the music move you to the core.”

A closer look at Samsung India’s official webpage linked in the teaser further supports this. References to “Galaxy Buds Core” are embedded in the site’s meta tags and HTML code, all but confirming the product name ahead of launch.

Adding to the speculation, the Galaxy Buds Core have already been spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification database and on Samsung’s regional support pages, which typically signal that the product is nearing release.

Galaxy Buds Core: What to Expect

Before any official reveal in India, the Galaxy Buds Core briefly appeared on Samsung’s UAE website, though the listing was taken down shortly after. Before that happened, Gadgets360 managed to grab screenshots of the product details.

The earbuds will come in Black and White color variants and feature a stemless design, similar to the Galaxy Buds 2. The charging case also closely resembles the one that came with the Buds 2, offering a compact and familiar design.

In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Buds Core will support Bluetooth 5.4, with compatibility for AAC, SBC, and Samsung’s proprietary Scalable codec. The listing also mentions support for common Bluetooth profiles like A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP. Each earbud will feature a touch sensor for gesture-based controls.

The Buds Core also carry an IP54 rating, making them resistant to dust and splashes — a practical feature for everyday use.

A standout feature of the Galaxy Buds Core is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) — a capability that’s becoming increasingly common in Samsung’s audio lineup, even at lower price points.

The earbuds will also include Galaxy AI-powered tools, including Interpreter and Live Translate, allowing real-time language translation when connected to compatible Galaxy smartphones. These features are part of Samsung’s broader push to integrate AI across its ecosystem.

As for battery life, Samsung claims the Buds Core can deliver up to 20 hours of playback with ANC turned on, and up to 35 hours without ANC. While real-world usage may vary, this positions the Buds Core as a solid performer in terms of endurance.

The Galaxy Buds Core are expected to debut during Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumoured to take place on July 9 in New York. They are likely to launch alongside the Galaxy Buds 3 FE and will reportedly serve as a follow-up to the Galaxy Buds FE, targeting a more affordable segment. The event is also expected to see the global unveiling of Samsung’s next-generation foldables — the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.
