Samsung Galaxy M36 5G to Launch in India on June 27

Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy M36 5G, in India. As mentioned in our earlier coverage of the Galaxy M36 5G teaser, the device is set to launch on June 27. A teaser published on Amazon not only confirms the date but also showcases the phone’s design and colour variants. The Galaxy M36 5G will be available in three colour options—Orange Haze, Velvet Black, and Serene Green.

While Samsung hasn’t released the full spec sheet officially, the listing and teasers hint at several key features. The Galaxy M36 5G is expected to succeed last year’s Galaxy M35 5G and will share some hardware similarities with the Galaxy A36 5G, which was introduced earlier this year.

What to Expect: Key Features

The Galaxy M36 5G is likely to be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 chipset, the same SoC found in the Galaxy M35 5G. It is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and run Android 15 out of the box, layered with Samsung’s One UI 7. These specifications were spotted earlier in a benchmark listing.

On the display front, Samsung has teased the use of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for better screen protection. The phone will feature a notch housing a 13MP front camera, capable of recording 4K video. On the rear, the triple camera setup will include a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera—also supporting 4K video capture.
