Samsung appears to be getting closer to the official launch of its next-generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. Fresh leaks have surfaced online, and this time they reveal what look like official renders of the devices. The images, reported by Android Headlines, give us the clearest look yet at what Samsung has in store.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is set to arrive in Blue Shadow and Jet Black colours, with more colourways expected at launch. One of the standout upgrades is its thinner profile, rumoured to measure between 3.9mm and 4.5mm when unfolded. If accurate, this would mark a noticeable reduction in thickness compared to its predecessor. The redesigned hinge also contributes to weight reduction, bringing the total down to around 215 grams—making it 24 grams lighter than the Fold6 and even undercutting the OPPO Find N5, currently one of the slimmest foldables around.

Another upgrade is the outer display, which is said to grow from 6.3 inches to 6.5 inches, while the inner foldable screen is expected to stretch to a massive 8.2 inches. If confirmed, this would make it the largest foldable screen currently on the market, surpassing the OPPO Find N5’s 8.12-inch panel.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is also getting a noticeable design boost. The outer cover display now spans almost the entire front panel, following the trend set by the Motorola Razr Ultra. It remains to be seen if Samsung will allow full app functionality on this cover display, something Motorola already supports.

Internally, the Flip7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite for Galaxy” chipset, which is an overclocked version of Qualcomm’s flagship processor. With a Prime core hitting speeds up to 4.47GHz, performance should see a healthy bump. The Flip7 is expected to offer up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. While the camera setup may remain the same—a 50MP main sensor paired with a 12MP ultrawide—the device is reportedly slimmer and lighter than the previous version. Battery capacity is also expected to remain close to 4,000mAh.
