TECNO has unveiled the POVA 7 Series globally, featuring five smartphones with bold designs, flagship-level gaming power, wireless charging, and AI-powered tools.

Following last month’s launch of the POVA Curve 5G in India, TECNO has now globally introduced the full POVA 7 Series, unveiling five new smartphones aimed at gamers, tech enthusiasts, and power users. The new lineup includes the POVA 7 Ultra 5G, POVA 7 Pro 5G, POVA 7 5G, the standard POVA 7, and the already-released POVA Curve 5G.
What sets the POVA 7 Series apart is TECNO’s refreshed design identity and deeper focus on performance and intelligent software features. All five models reflect the brand’s futuristic “Interstellar Spaceship Design,” with sleek lines, geometric accents, and a standout Mini-LED Status Light that can be customized for calls, messages, and gaming alerts.
The series also debuts HiOS 15 Special Edition, an upgraded interface that brings user-defined icons, themes, and wallpapers while offering a clutter-free, more refined experience. Designed for users who want both power and personalization, the new UI complements the hardware upgrades perfectly.
Among the devices, the POVA 7 Ultra 5G is the most powerful in the lineup. It is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, backed by a large 6000mAh battery, and supports 70W wired and 30W wireless fast charging. It also includes 10W reverse charging, making it one of the few in its category with such a well-rounded charging setup. TECNO says this is the first time wireless charging has been introduced in the POVA lineup, and it extends to the Ultra, Pro, and standard 5G models.

For those who prefer visual flair, the POVA Curve 5G brings a first-of-its-kind curved display to the series, offering a more premium edge-to-edge experience. Some models in the series also sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a brightness of up to 4500 nits, making them well-suited for gaming, content streaming, and bright outdoor use.

TECNO isn’t just focusing on raw hardware, though. The POVA 7 Series is built around smart functionality, driven by full-scale AI integration. At the core is the AI Anywhere Portal, which gives users easy access to powerful tools like:
- Ask Ella, an intelligent assistant that can rewrite text, summarize articles, or give instant photo-based information.
- AI Call Assistant, with real-time translation, noise cancellation, auto answer, and summaries after calls.
- AI Writing, which helps with emails, notes, or summarizing reading content.
- Circle to Search, which lets you circle any object on-screen to get search results instantly.
- AI Studio, offering editing tools like AI Eraser, AI Image Extender, and AIGC Portrait 2.0 for on-the-go content creation.
The POVA 7 Ultra 5G also targets gamers with dedicated features like 4D Gaming Vibration, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a Hyper Cooling System that uses a 12-layer heat dissipation structure and vapor chamber to maintain performance during extended gaming sessions. It supports 120FPS gameplay and reportedly scores over 1.53 million on AnTuTu, putting it in flagship territory for gaming phones.

One standout feature is FreeLink, a new off-grid communication tool that enables voice calls and messages over distances of up to 1km without any mobile network — ideal for hiking, travel, or emergencies.
TECNO is also releasing matching accessories such as a custom-designed power bank, wireless magnetic card, and protective case, all crafted to enhance both style and function across the POVA 7 lineup.
The official release also highlights the POVA Curve 5G, which was already introduced in India, is part of this global family. The full POVA 7 Series will roll out across South Asia (including India), the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America in the coming weeks.
While TECNO has revealed many standout features, detailed specifications for each model are still under wraps. Once full spec sheets are available, we’ll publish a comprehensive breakdown of all five devices.
