TECNO has launched the Spark Go 2 in India, bringing meaningful upgrades to its budget-friendly Go series. Aimed at entry-level users, the new model packs in a 120Hz display, a large battery, and IP64 protection — features that are rarely seen at this price point. With a focus on everyday performance and practical usability, the Spark Go 2 builds on the success of its predecessor while keeping the pricing impressively affordable.
The new Spark Go 2 sports a 6.67-inch HD+ Dot-In display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, offering a better visual experience than many phones in its price range. TECNO has also added its Dynamic Port interface, which provides visual notifications around the punch-hole camera, enhancing the usability of the front screen.
Powering the device is a UNISOC T7250 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and an additional 4GB of virtual RAM, which should be adequate for light multitasking and basic app usage. It comes with 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD.
The phone runs on HiOS 15 based on Android 15 and promises up to four years of lag-free performance, according to the company. TECNO has also included its Ella AI assistant, which is capable of understanding and responding in multiple Indian regional languages, improving accessibility for local users.
In the camera department, the Spark Go 2 features a 13MP rear sensor with dual-LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera, also backed by a dual-LED flash for better selfies in low light. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor add to the convenience and utility.

One of the highlights of the phone is its IP64 rating, making it dust and splash resistant — a rare offering in this price segment. A standout feature is TECNO’s Free Link, which powers the ‘No Network Communication’ mode. This allows users to make calls or send messages to other TECNO devices even without mobile signal — a potentially useful function in areas with poor network coverage.
The Spark Go 2 is equipped with DTS dual stereo speakers and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, catering to multimedia users. It draws power from a 5000mAh battery, supported by 15W fast charging via USB Type-C. At 186g and 8.25mm thickness, the device maintains a fairly slim and light profile.

The TECNO Spark Go 2 is priced at ₹6,999 for the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It will be available in four colour options — Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Veil White, and Turquoise Green. Sales begin July 1st exclusively via Flipkart.
