vivo has officially launched two new smartphones — the vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini — expanding its S-series lineup in China. Both models come equipped with flagship-grade hardware, 50MP front cameras, and large 6500mAh batteries, offering a solid combination of style and performance.
vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini: Key Specifications
Display and Design
The vivo S30 retains a 6.67-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5000 nits. It uses BOE’s Q10 panel and supports HDR10+ along with high-frequency 3840Hz PWM dimming.

Meanwhile, the S30 Pro Mini features a slightly smaller 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen. It supports 120Hz refresh rate, 4320Hz PWM dimming, and the same peak brightness of 5000 nits. While the S30 gets a plastic frame, the Pro Mini uses a metal frame and also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance — a rare combo in this segment.
Both models are available in four colour options: Cocoa Black, Mint Green, Lemon Yellow, and Cool Berry Pink (Peach Pink for S30).
Performance
Under the hood, the vivo S30 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The S30 Pro Mini takes things a step further with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9300+ SoC — the same chipset seen on vivo’s previous high-end model, the S20 Pro.
Both devices run on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15.
Camera Setup
Photography is a key highlight of both models. The S30 and S30 Pro Mini come with a 50MP primary sensor, supported by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens. These phones also feature Aura light for improved low-light performance.

For selfies and video calls, both phones sport a 50MP front camera with autofocus.
Battery and Charging
vivo equips both the S30 and S30 Pro Mini with a massive 6500mAh battery, supported by 90W fast charging. The S30 is powered by a 7kW motor setup, while the S30 Pro Mini features an 11kW motor system to handle the demands of the Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
Other Features
Additional highlights include stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio support, USB Type-C port, NFC, in-display fingerprint scanner, and support for dual SIM 5G. The Pro Mini also comes with Wi-Fi 7 support, while the standard S30 supports Wi-Fi 6.
