vivo has launched the budget-friendly T4 Lite 5G in India with a 6.74-inch 90Hz display, Dimensity 6300 chip, 50MP camera, Android 15, and a 6000mAh battery starting at just ₹9,999.
vivo has officially launched its latest entry-level 5G smartphone, the vivo T4 Lite 5G, in India. As part of the brand’s budget-friendly lineup, the device brings essential modern features like 5G connectivity, a large battery, and a smooth 90Hz display—all while keeping the starting price under ₹10,000.
The T4 Lite 5G features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1000 nits, promising decent outdoor visibility for its price segment. At the heart of the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM for smoother multitasking. Storage options go up to 256GB, with support for expansion via microSD up to 1TB.
In terms of software, the device runs Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, and vivo has promised 2 years of Android updates along with 3 years of security patches, which is notable for a budget smartphone.
On the camera front, the T4 Lite 5G gets a dual rear setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with Sony optics and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 5MP front-facing camera housed in the display notch. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner adds convenience and security, while features like a 3.5mm headphone jack and top-ported speaker make it friendly for media consumption.
The phone also comes with IP64 dust and splash resistance, which is a rare offering in this price range. It is backed by a 6000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging via USB Type-C. vivo is offering the T4 Lite 5G in Prism Blue and Titanium Gold colour variants. The pricing starts at ₹9,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model, ₹10,999 for the 6GB + 128GB, and ₹12,999 for the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant. The phone will go on sale from July 2, and will be available via Flipkart, vivo’s official online store, and offline retail outlets.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can get a ₹500 instant discount when using HDFC Bank, SBI, or Axis Bank cards, making the deal even more attractive for those looking to get into 5G on a budget.
