Vivo has officially confirmed that the Vivo Y400 Pro will launch in India on June 20, expanding its Y-series lineup. A teaser shared by the company highlights a dual-camera setup and promotes the phone as featuring the “slimmest 3D curved display” in its segment—an eye-catching addition for budget-conscious users seeking a premium design.
Display and Design
As per earlier reports and the teaser, the Vivo Y400 Pro will feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The phone also boasts a 3D curved display design, which is rare in this category. The sleek design is expected to appeal to buyers who value both aesthetics and functionality.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Vivo Y400 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, a 6nm chipset that supports 5G connectivity and promises improved energy efficiency and performance. It will come with 8GB of RAM, and users can expect support for up to 8GB of virtual RAM as well, offering enhanced multitasking capabilities.
Storage options include 128GB and a likely 256GB variant, though the latter has yet to be officially confirmed. The Amazon listing mentions Funtouch OS 14, but considering Vivo’s recent software updates, the phone could debut with Funtouch OS 15.
