Xiaomi 15S Pro Launched with New XRING Chip, Leica Cameras, and 6100mAh Battery

Xiaomi 15S Pro launched in China with its new 3nm XRING 01 chip, Leica triple cameras, 6.73-inch 2K OLED display, and a 6100mAh battery with 90W fast charging.

Xiaomi has officially introduced the 15S Pro in China, expanding its flagship lineup as part of its 15th anniversary celebration. The new model builds on the Xiaomi 15 Pro and brings several upgrades, most notably the debut of the in-house developed XRING 01 10-core chipset, built on a 3nm process.

This new chip includes a 16-core Immortalis-G925 GPU and has reportedly scored over 3 million points on AnTuTu, signaling significant performance gains. Alongside this, the phone features Xiaomi’s latest imaging hardware and thermal management system.

Display and Design

The Xiaomi 15S Pro features a 6.73-inch 2K OLED LTPO display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3200 nits of peak brightness. It supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and comes protected with Xiaomi’s Ceramic Glass 2.0. The screen offers 12-bit color depth and 1920Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort.

The phone is housed in a unibody frame made of aviation-grade aluminum and includes a wing-shaped vapor-liquid cooling system with a heat dissipation area of up to 4053mm² for better thermal performance during heavy use.

Performance and Software

At the heart of the device is the new XRING 01 SoC, clocked up to 3.9GHz, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 out of the box.

Camera System

The triple rear camera setup features Leica-tuned optics with a 50MP main sensor (1/1.31-inch, f/1.44 aperture, Hyper OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide camera (115° field of view), and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom and up to 10X lossless zoom. The phone supports 8K video recording, and the XRING O1 ISP v4 processor can handle up to 8.7 billion pixels per second for real-time image processing.

On the front, there’s a 32MP camera capable of recording 4K video at 60fps.

Battery and Charging

The device is powered by a 6100mAh battery with a high energy density of 850Wh/L. It supports 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and magnetic wireless charging, ensuring fast and flexible power options.

Other Features

Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, Hi-Res Audio, and a 4-microphone array. The phone also includes IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and full satellite navigation support including NavIC.
