Xiaomi has officially launched the Civi 5 Pro in China, adding a new device to its popular Civi series. Unveiled alongside the flagship Xiaomi 15s Pro, the Civi 5 Pro offers a premium design, the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, and a strong focus on display and camera performance—all at a competitive price point.

Display and Design

The Civi 5 Pro features a 6.55-inch quad-curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2750 x 1236 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. With up to 3200 nits of peak brightness and Dolby Vision support, the screen delivers vibrant visuals and smooth responsiveness. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and supports 2160Hz PWM dimming for better eye comfort.

Xiaomi continues its focus on design with a slim 7.45mm profile and a weight of just 184g. The Iced Americano edition stands out with its eco-friendly back panel made from natural coffee grounds and leather-textured finish that gives off a subtle coffee aroma.

Performance and Hardware

Powering the Civi 5 Pro is the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process, paired with Adreno 825 GPU. The phone comes in multiple configurations—up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. For thermal management, Xiaomi has included a ring-shaped cold pump cooling system designed for better heat transfer.

Camera Setup

In partnership with Leica, Xiaomi equips the Civi 5 Pro with a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP main sensor with Leica Summilux lens and Hyper OIS, a 50MP 2x telephoto lens (Samsung JN5), and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The front houses a 50MP autofocus selfie camera with Samsung’s JNP sensor, offering improved light sensitivity and support for 4K video recording.

Battery and Features

The phone packs a large 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 67W fast charging. Despite the high battery capacity, Xiaomi maintains a slim profile without compromising on performance. The battery also features high energy density for better longevity.

Other features include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, an IR blaster, and support for Hi-Res Audio through USB Type-C.

Pricing and Availability

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is available in three configurations in China:

  • 12GB + 256GB: 2,999 yuan (approx. $416 / ₹35,800)
  • 12GB + 512GB: 3,299 yuan (approx. $458 / ₹39,390)
  • 16GB + 512GB: 3,599 yuan (approx. $499 / ₹43,000)

All models are now available for purchase in China via Xiaomi’s online and offline channels. Color options include Nebula Purple, Sakura Pink, Black, White, and the special Iced Americano edition.
