Xiaomi is set to launch the Pad 7S Pro later this month. The tablet will feature the Xring O1 chip, a 12.5-inch LCD display, 10,610mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and PC-like productivity tools.

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, the latest addition to its premium tablet lineup. The upcoming model brings notable hardware upgrades and productivity-focused features aimed at users looking for a PC-like experience in a portable form factor.
One of the biggest highlights is the replacement of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip with Xiaomi’s in-house Xring O1 processor, the same chip that recently debuted in the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. This move underscores Xiaomi’s growing focus on building its own silicon to optimize performance and efficiency across its ecosystem.
In terms of display, the Pad 7S Pro will sport a 12.5-inch LCD panel, available in a Nano Soft Light Edition. This version integrates AG nano texture and AR optical coating, which helps reduce reflectivity by 65% and filters out 99% of interference light, promising better visibility and improved eye comfort, especially for long usage sessions.

Despite its large screen, the tablet maintains a slim profile at just 5.8mm thick, adding to its portability. Powering the device is a 10,610mAh battery, paired with support for 120W fast charging—a rare feature in tablets that should deliver incredibly quick top-ups.

On the software front, Xiaomi confirms the Pad 7S Pro will run HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, offering what the company calls a “PC-level software experience.” Users will also be able to take advantage of a floating keyboard and Xiaomi Pen stylus, both designed to replicate the utility of a laptop setup for productivity, creativity, and multitasking.
Design teasers showcase the Pad 7S Pro in Black and Silver color options, with matching accessories. These details were shared ahead of a June 18 launch event, where Xiaomi China head Lu Weibing will officially reveal more about the Pad 7S Pro, alongside other devices like the Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K Pad.
While additional specifications are still under wraps, the Pad 7S Pro is expected to be positioned as a direct competitor to high-performance tablets such as Apple’s iPad Air series. More details, including pricing and availability, are expected during the upcoming Xiaomi launch broadcast.
